2 Unique Ways to Say NO to That Creep at the Bar

All girls have been there. You’re in the bar and some dude walks up and tries to use his charm and wit on you but you’re really not interested. Some men are good and walk off and admit defeat, but what about the guys that keep going? You know, the dudes that look at you like they need you in their collection in a basement someplace. When you feel unsafe and can’t seem to shake him off you need to get creative.

There are of course the usual ways. Go up to another girl and sit down because there is obviously strength in numbers, and I personally don’t know a female who would turn anyone away in that case. Order that Angel Shot so the bartender knows that something isn’t right, and they can handle it.

Guys will work hard to get a girl they want to take home, but will they put up with crazy? Most guys won’t. Take your drink and look directly into his eyes and say something super random. One that usually throws them off guard is talking about their socks. This one worked for me pretty well once.

I picked up my drink and turned to him and just smiled and said “You like to wear those knee-high socks” I took a sip of my drink and smiled and just continued to talk about socks and my favorite kinds. (Ankle if you’re actually wondering) I said the most random things. “I like the ones with no toes. I call them flip flop socks” I laughed at the fact it rhymed and told him to say it too and that it is really fun to say. So, I began to say it in different accents and tones. He tried so hard to change the subject.

In my head, I was wondering why he wasn’t walking away. When he finally did, I laughed and went back to my friends. He never gave me a second glance that night and I went along the night just being me.

This one takes some skill and a little practice, but it works. I have only really mastered it once however he never looked at me again no matter how many times we were at the bar.
