Olive Oil

Just crossed my mind,

I have been watching videos on smoking meat.

A lot of them use olive oil in the rub.

My first reaction was to disagree with that, thinking that the fire would alter its essence, seemed like a waste.

But I think I understand why, and I belive I have been undervaluing olive oil, in general, and here specifically.

In the low temp environment, the oil probably just blooms.

I am going to give it a try Saturday…

Acabo de cruzar mi mente,

he estado viendo videos sobre cómo fumar carne.

Muchos de ellos usan aceite de oliva en el frote.

Mi primera reacción fue no estar de acuerdo con eso, pensando que el fuego alteraría su esencia, parecía un desperdicio.

Pero creo que entiendo por qué, y creo que he estado subvalorando el aceite de oliva, en general, y aquí específicamente.

En el ambiente de baja temperatura, el aceite probablemente florece.
