In this article I will show you how to connect your project in the xcode application to GitHub.

First, if you don’t have an existing project you are creating a project in xcode during the creation phase you should make sure that the following “Create Git Repository on My Mac” option is selected. if it is not selected you can select this option from the settings

After opening your newly created or existing project go to Xcode >>Settings in the upper left, then to the accounts in the second part from the left, click + in the lower left and select the github account in the account section. Type your email from your github account.

Then log in to your GitHub account in the browser you are using and go to the settings section. click on the developer settings at the bottom and click personnel Access Token >> Token(Classic) on the left. select classic from the generate new token and continue the process.

Enter the name of the repository that you will create on the resulting page and click on the generate token by selecting the packages that Xcode wants (you can see the packages he wants from you in the red zone below) from you below (you can also select all the packages if you want). Then paste the resulting code into the section at the bottom of the email in Xcode.

After clicking log in, you can go to the repositories in your project file and double-click on the remote at the bottom to create a new repository or add your codes to an existing location.

If you are going to add it to an existing file. Don’t forget to copy and paste the file’s address in the place below.

Now you can log into GitHub and see that your code has been pushed.
