BAIL ACCEPTED

The Lahore High Court granted bail to Imran Khan for one week, on which the PTI chairman requested to increase the security bond, on which the court granted the bail till March 3.

According to the details, the 2-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqer Najafi heard the application for protective bail in the case registered in Sangjani police station. On behalf of Imran Khan, his lawyers Khawaja Tariq Rahim and Azhar Siddique appeared in the court.

The Lahore High Court had given Imran Khan a last chance to appear before the court to clarify the difference between the application for protective bail and the signature of the power of attorney and for the protective bail in the case registered at Sangjani police station.

The court had given Imran Khan a time of 5 pm to appear, but Imran Khan reached the High Court premises at around 5:50 PM, Imran Khan remained on the premises for a long time.

Meanwhile, the leaders of Tehreek-e-Insaaf requested the court to accept the presence of Imran Khan, it is not possible to bring him from the premises to the courtroom in a wheelchair, however, the court rejected this request and to present Imran Khan in any case. Ordered.

Imran Khan’s statement after getting bail

In an informal conversation outside the court hall, the PTI Chairman said that my leg bone is almost fixed, and the X-ray is to be done on February 28, but in the meantime, if there is a shock, it may be damaged.

Imran Khan said I have a lot of respect for the judiciary, my party is called justice and rule of law, I have been trying to get out of my car to the court for an hour now.

Earlier, Justice Ali Baqir Najafi asked where Imran Khan is and who is stopping him from appearing in court, to which his lawyer Azhar Siddique replied that Imran Khan is sitting in a car near the ramp and the police. Failed to help.

Justice Ali Baqir Najafi noted that Imran Khan is accused of blocking the highway in Srinagar, to which his lawyer said the interim bails of all the co-accused in the case have been upheld.

The court said that why did Imran Khan take so long to approach the court, Imran Khan became an advertiser in this case, to which his lawyer replied that no, Imran Khan is not an advertiser.
