The simplest definition for text mining is the process of transforming unstructured text to structured text to evaluate for any patterns. Sentiment analysis is apart of natural language processing that attempts to identify the emotional tone behind a body of text. These processes go hand in hand as text mining is requirement to perform sentiment analysis.
