Mirzapur 2 !! Is it worth binging?

There are only a few times, where a large number of people in the country stands on one page, like for politics, cricket, cinema, etc…, in the same way, this is that one rare time where all the movie lovers across the country are going mad on a “Web Show” called MIRZAPUR.

Previously when ‘Sacred Games’ season 2 got released, there’s a huge hype all over the country, but for ‘Mirzapur’ it’s more than that, the mass reception it got received irrespective of languages is itself a new phenomenon. There are no new movie releases in months and also the rapid increase in the OTT content consumption acts as an added advantage for Mirzapur, so when there’s tempting ‘535-minutes’ solid content which you can watch inside your own house, then there’s nothing which can stop a Movie Lover.

What makes Mirzapur so special? Well, earlier there were many movies on the proper North Indian gangster dramas, and the last time when such a movie got huge reception was “ Gangs of Wasseypur” in 2012, the characters in the film, the drama, the violence was shot brilliantly and that was in fact considered as Modern day’s cult. In the same way, the designing of the drama, the proper flushed out Characters is also an asset for Mirzapur.

For any series to shine properly, the major thing required is ‘solid writing’, the writers of Mirzapur excelled in their jobs. The narrative in this show, which has its own style, entertains the audience throughout the show. Also, there are many characters in this series which will be remembered for a long time for their unpredictability, foolishness, greed, lust, anger, patience, cunningness, etc…,

Compared to season 1, the writing in this season is so sharp !! The way the drama was created, the way the characters were completely flushed out makes the writing perfect. Unlike season 1, the story will be moving forward with a lot of drama taking place and keeping you hooked to that story. The handling of the violence and the regular usage of cuss words are similar to Season 1.

The usage of authentic locations and the performances will completely indulge you into the story. The ending of some lives abruptly, the sudden change or raise of some characters is what that moved the story forward.

Although there’s no official announcement yet for Season 3, the ending suggests that there will be one. It will be interesting to see what they have in store for us in the next season, considering the finale of Season 2, through which a lot can be assumed.
