Roadrunner Transportation Systems Aims to Bolster Board of Directors

An education advocate, Chris Jamroz received his bachelor of arts in business studies from Birmingham City University and a master of business administration in corporate finance from the Schulich School of Business, York University before he entered the shipping and logistics industry. Chris Jamroz now serves as the CEO of St. George Logistics Holdings (STG Holdings) and the executive chairman of St. George Logistics (STG Logistics), where he manages the largest container freight station (CFS) network in the United States.

Along with Donald Brown, a former FedEx executive, Jamroz was recently nominated for election to the Board of Directors of Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. An asset-transportation and logistics-services provider, Roadrunner was founded in 1984 and has established itself as a leading domestic- and international-shipping firm.

Roadrunner operates the Roadrunner, Ascent Global Logistics, and Active On-Demand brands that will draw from Jamroz’s formal education and experience, which encompasses extensive knowledge of not only business administration and management, but also finance. According to a Business Wire article announcing his nomination to the board, he will also function as a central advisor to Roadrunner as it pursues its long-term business strategies.
